Health Connections: planning approved, hoardings up

Our proposal for the new Health Connections office at Waitrose Rohais has been approved and works on site are well underway.
Behind those snazzy Smith Signs hoardings, contractor CA Duquemin is busy bringing our design to life. These new premises will fulfill three purposes.
First, they will function as an office where Health Connections volunteers can coordinate and oversee the charity’s services, helping local residents access support and transportation.
Second, they will offer a friendly, accessible public space where people can easily find information and engage with the organisation. Third, they will include a private, quiet area designed for confidential or sensitive meetings to take place in a calm and discreet environment.
Community projects like this are especially meaningful to all of us here at StudiO, as they give us the opportunity to apply our skills and experience in support of a valuable local initiative.

Our design introduces warmth, colour, and personality to the commercial space, reflecting Health Connections’ ‘upcycle’ ethos through the use of vintage and repurposed furnishings wherever possible.
At its core, the design supports the charity’s ‘connect for support’ mission, with each detail thoughtfully planned to enable volunteers to carry out their vital work effectively.
Here’s a glimpse of what it will look like once complete:
