Work in progress: The Poolhouse at The Manor House
It’s an exciting time at The Manor House, with phase-two construction well underway and Breton Group delivering exceptional workmanship. Check out these images (including some of our original renders) for a glimpse of how design is becoming reality.
The oak frame for the poolhouse is now in place, giving a sense of how this stylish and spacious outdoor entertaining space – complete with outdoor kitchen – will look when complete.
Key to the frame’s structure, in addition to the slab foundation, is a beautiful new supporting granite wall at the rear, skillfully built by DW Stonemasons. An opening in this wall will eventually lead to a timber-framed WC and plant room on the far side.
DW have also painstakingly repointed and restabilised the existing high granite wall that marks the northern boundary of the property, ensuring another attractive internal wall for the poolhouse. Remnants of an old lean-to vinehouse have also been removed from this wall to create a clean finish.
The new swimming pool is in place, too, installed by Gillingham Pools, with stylish paving creating a stunning terrace that connects the pool area to the poolhouse.
Look out for more updates as this second phase of transformation at The Manor House moves closer to completion! In the meantime, here’s a glimpse of what it will look like…
