Chris and Daria are busy helping the team at Rosso refresh their much-loved local restaurant and bar.

The reinvention includes beautiful, newly exposed granite and brickwork, a new bar, a new colour palette, plus new furnishings and lighting fixtures. The original hardwood floor will also be receiving some TLC.

Being retained are the large windows that fold back flat onto the internal face of the facade. These windows – central to Chris’s original scheme when the restaurant opened in 2015 – enhance the connection to the seafront beyond. When opened up, they effectively transform the front section of the restaurant into a covered outside space, in the style of a classic European dining terrace.

The result of the refresh will be a stylish and atmospheric new look for this popular local spot. With work on site progressing swiftly, it shouldn’t be long before you can see it for yourself…
