We’re proud to be partnering with this important local charity on its new head office and drop-in centre, on the former post office site inside Waitrose Rohais.

The new premises will serve three functions. The first is an office from which Health Connections volunteers can manage and organise the charity’s services – namely, connecting local people with the support and transportation they need. 

The second is a welcoming, approachable, public-facing space providing easily accessible information and interaction. 

The third is a separate, discreet meeting space in which private or sensitive consultations can take place in a quiet and secluded setting.

Our design brings welcome warmth, colour and character to the commercial space. It embraces Health Connections’ ‘upcycle’ ethos by using vintage and used furnishings wherever possible.

It also has the charity’s ‘connect for support’ message at its heart, with every element carefully considered to help the volunteers do their essential work.

Community projects like this one mean a lot to all of us at StudiO, allowing us to put our expertise and experience to use in the service of an important local cause.
