The West Coast Farmhouse has been selected as the winner in the Single Residential Renovation/Extension category at the 2026 Guernsey Design Awards.

The judges praised the project’s bold but sensitive transformation of a traditional Guernsey farmhouse, which replaced a tired conservatory with a fully glazed extension, creating a delicate dialogue between granite, glass and garden.

As always, the quality of entries across all the categories was extremely high, and the presentation evening was a great celebration of Guernsey’s abundant design talent.

The awards are held every two years. This marks our second consecutive win in this category, after La Fosse won the same prize in 2024.

Two other StudiO projects were shortlisted this year: Fukku (Commercial) and The Manor House (Heritage).
